Plastic Wing Pivot Mechanism currently not available.
In 2002 Noel Martin, a friend of Frank Macy's, looked at a 1950's prototype plastic folding wing mechanism made by Bob Smurthwaite, and came up with this reliable folding wing mechanism. |
The folding wing process reliably replicates the Jim Walker concept. The new wing pivot has built in camber to create the airfoil you need, simply glue in your 1/16" balsa wing. It is designed to work with 3/16" " thick balsa for the fuselage. Look at our folding wing gallery for ideas. |
